This project is all about giving a fresh new look to a paint brand, making it modern, eco-friendly, and DIY-friendly. The goal is to create packaging that stands out on shelves, is easy to read, and appeals to both homeowners and professionals. With a bold identity system and clear design, the brand will feel trustworthy, creative, and built to last.

Design Brief

VEXA is rooted in San Diego’s visual culture, where architecture, street murals, and everyday design feel geometric, layered, and expressive. I designed this paint brand to feel local, modern, and aproachable for both DIY users and professionals, who value clarity, function, and thoughtful design.

The geometric patterns are inspired by the city’s buildings, murals, and signage, while the custom “V” in the logotype subtly references the outline of a home, reinforcing the connection to interior spaces and DIY projects. Every detail, from colors and patterns to type and packaging, is crafted to stay clear, modern, and functional.
