Juno Music Streaming App 2025
Design Brief
This collaborative UX/UI project involved designing a mobile music streaming application from concept to interactive prototype. Working with a classmate, we conducted user and market research, analyzed competitors, and developed user personas to better understand the needs of music listeners aged 15–40. Using Figma, we created wireframes, visual interface designs, and an interactive prototype focused on improving music discovery, playlist curation, and social sharing. The final design emphasizes intuitive navigation, personalized listening experiences, and a clean, engaging mobile interface.
Juno Music app explores the social side of music by allowing users to view listening activity, connect with friends, and share musical experiences in a more interactive way.
I contributed to the design of screens and navigation patterns, including the navigation bar, search functionality and its user flow, and the playlist creation experience. I also focused on designing the library screen ensuring it was engaging and easy to explore, with clear, clickable pathways through different playlists and the user favorite songs.
Through multiple rounds of testing, design system refinements, and prototyping, we ensured the experience felt cohesive and intuitive. My collaborator and I creatively and organically combined our design skills alongside our shared vision of a nostalgic, early-2000s–inspired social music app that feels both interactive and engaging.
